How long have you been a member of HTFD-23 and why did you join?
I joined in 2003. My son was already member of HTFD-23 and I always wanted join so I decided follow him and I joined the fire company.

What is the best part about being part of HTFD-23?
Being able to help people and friendships that you create in the fire service.

What do you do when you’re not fighting fires?
I am an outdoorsman and love to hunt. Tending my Christmas tree farm. I also enjoy spending time with my family.

Who would you say is the most influential person in your life and why?
My Father. I have always admired my father’s drive and work ethic. How he would work full time and still have the time to enjoy his hobbies and family.

What is your favorite movie and why?
The Quiet Man because it’s a good movie.

There is movie about HTFD-23 – what actor would play you?
John Wayne.

If you had 3 magic beans – what would you wish for?
For my old age aches and pains to go away.
To win the lottery.
To be able to talk to my parents one more time.
