How long have you been a member of HTFD-23 and why did you join?

I’ve been a member of the district at the Ewan station for about 5 months now. Giving back to my country and in this case, my community, has always been important to me.

What is the best part about being part of HTFD-23?

The best part of being a member of HTFD-23 is meeting others who share the same sense of service as I do.

What do you do when you’re not fighting fires?

I work for a government contracted agency doing Strategic Procurement. I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, and of course our two dogs.

Who would you say is the most influential person in your life and why?

My Uncle Rick, who dedicated his life to serving this country both in the US Marine Corps and the US Air Force thereafter. He loved this country and believed in it. Although, his service is what ultimately took his life, he was proud until his last breath. He was a good man and was taken too soon.

What is your favorite movie and why?

The Godfather. I love old mob movies.
